Our Story

The story of TRAX began with two engineers, both named Hemn, who met in the Engineering Department at Salahaddin University. Our mechanical engineering journey started in 2008, where we studied together, lived in the same accommodation, and shared the same ambition: to contribute to a stronger industrial future for our country. From the beginning, our focus was not only on engineering as a profession, but on using engineering to improve manufacturing, production quality, and industrial capability. Iraq has long depended heavily on imported products, with imports of goods and services reaching around US$92.8 billion in 2024. This reinforced our belief that local manufacturing must grow, not only to replace imports, but to create skilled jobs, improve product quality, and bring modern production technology into the region. In 2019, we took our first major step by establishing a heating, ventilation, and air conditioning manufacturing factory. This became one of the first fully automated duct manufacturing factories in Iraq, introducing advanced production methods to a sector that had traditionally relied heavily on imported or manually produced systems. Building on this experience, we continued to support and establish manufacturing facilities for other companies, always with the same goal: to bring state-of-the-art industrial technology into Iraq and raise the standard of local production. Our latest project is the TRAX cable tray manufacturing factory, established at the end of 2025. Through this project, we aim to introduce a next-generation cable tray system designed with practical engineering improvements, including dented perforations, an S-return profile, secure cover locking, and male–female jointing. Today, TRAX connects our manufacturing experience in Iraq with the needs of the UK market. We manufacture, import, and supply cable trays, accessories, covers, and support systems from our own factory for contractors, wholesalers, and project clients across the UK. Our mission is simple: to produce strong, practical, and innovative cable management products that improve installation efficiency, support safer cable protection, and deliver better value for modern electrical projects.
